  An Arctic Exploration

Your students will truly experience the Arctic and get excited about this unique part of Canada. Your students will all handle Inuit artifacts and try some of them out! Storytelling with string inspires them to learn how to make their own string figures, and everyone learns how! They will also learn how to play some traditional Inuit games, and take home a replica of a traditional Inuit toy.

If all of that is not enough, they will also get to hear traditional Inuit music, engage in a curriculum-based discussion, and watch a contemporary slide show. Nowhere else outside of the Arctic will your students get to experience northern Canada so intimately. This is a program your students will remember for years.

This dynamic two hour program is designed for Grades 3 - 6 and is presented in your classroom so you have no added workload. We bring all the excitement of a field trip to you, and we enhance the curriculum that you are required to teach.
