  A Global Perspective

This action packed program focuses on world geography, politics and culture. The program opens with a game show.  Students compete to identify mystery countries, demonstrating their knowledge of the world, and learning lots more about continents, countries, forms of government, maps, landforms, climate, living conditions, economic products,  and more.  Music, artifacts and visuals add to the excitement.

The action continues with a dramatic simulation to show how our world's resources are divided, followed by an engaging game that illustrates some reasons behind current inequalities. Students are inspired to dream about - and work for - positive change. Role-plays, complete with costumes, get everyone interacting and brainstorming ways to care for our world and our neighbours. Students are left with a new appreciation for the world, and for its diversity of cultures and viewpoints.  They go home with renewed hope that our world's problems are understandable and solvable - and that any change begins with us!

This dynamic two hour program designed for Grades 4 - 6 is presented in your classroom so you have no added workload. We bring all the excitement of a field trip into your classroom, and we enhance the curriculum that you are required to teach.
